What information we collect
When you contact us by email, we receive your name, your email address, and any other information you choose to include in your message, such as your organisation, role and the nature of your enquiry. We do not use contact forms or accounts on this website.
How and why we use it
We use this information to read and respond to your enquiry, to discuss possible work together, and to keep a record of our correspondence. Our lawful basis is our legitimate interest in responding to business enquiries and, where you ask about our services, taking steps at your request before entering into a contract. If we later work together, we will also hold information needed to perform our contract and meet legal and accounting obligations.
We do not sell your information, and we do not use it for automated decision-making or profiling.
Who we share it with
Your information is handled only by us and by the service providers we use to run our website and email, including IONOS (website hosting and email) and Google (email). They act on our instructions. Some providers may process information outside the UK. Where they do, appropriate safeguards are in place. We may also disclose information where the law requires it.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry correspondence for up to two years after our last contact with you, unless we work together. In that case we keep the records we need for the engagement and for legal, tax and accounting purposes, which is normally up to six years after it ends.
Cookies and website data
This website does not use analytics or advertising cookies. Our hosting provider may keep technical logs, such as IP addresses, for security and to keep the site running.
Your rights
You have the right to ask for access to the information we hold about you, and to ask us to correct it, erase it, restrict how we use it, or stop using it. To exercise any of these rights, email enquiries@artospartners.co.uk. If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113. We would be grateful for the chance to resolve your concern first.
